Description

Heavyweight. Real heavyweight — the kind of fleece that has weight in your hand before you put it on. None of this paper-thin stuff that pills after one wash and gets retired by month two.

Classic cut. Drop shoulder, ribbed cuffs that actually hold, hood lined deep enough to pull up in a real wind. Drawstrings are flat cotton, not those plastic-tipped strings that fray in the dryer. The chest reads LOYD — the family name, the by-line, the thing that goes on the spine of the book and the masthead of the label.

I wear mine year-round in Atlanta. October through March it is the layer. April through September it is the thing I throw on after the studio when the AC is too low. I wanted a hoodie I would actually keep — so we made one.
